Dear colleagues!

On behalf of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Producers (ARFP) we welcome participants and guests of “PHARMTECH 2006” Exhibition. It is a pleasure to note that the number of participants and guests at the exhibition increases from year to year. Not only has the scale of the event changed, but the quality of the exhibition improved too: PHARMTECH is not just demonstration of achievements, but, first of all, a ground for experience exchange and learning.

Mission of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Producers is to develop Russian pharmaceutical industry for the provision of the Russian population with the required quantity of modern, qualitative and affordable medicines, which coincides with the goal of PHARMTECH.

The task of the exhibition is to bring together the efforts of Russian pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers of equipment, substances, packaging, etc. Experience and achievements of international leaders in this field are undoubtedly interesting and useful. But the number of Russian participation in the exhibition is also constantly growing. Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Producers aiming at the provision of Russian people with medicines produced by domestic pharmaceutical industry watches the development of national companies supplying equipment, substances and packaging for the industry.

The main achievement of PHARMTECH is the substantial expansion of professional interaction free of any industrial, official, commercial, governmental or other framework.

We hope that PHARMTECH 2006 will be remembered not only due to the large scale of the project, but also for seminars and round tables held within the exhibition. Most of professional visitors, both those who have long-term experience and those who are just starting their activities in pharmaceutical industry, attend the exhibition with the purpose of listening to interesting presentations, communicating with colleagues, discussing topical issues and development trends of the industry.

PHARMTECH exhibition has become a meeting point for representatives of business circles, a kind of progress indicator of both Russian pharmaceutical industry and joint international projects development. Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Producers believes that the strategic alliance of science, education and business will become a good basis for mutually beneficial cooperation.

I would like to express my gratitude to the organisers of the exhibition and wish them, as well as all participants and guests of the exhibition, productive work, fruitful meetings, new ideas and creative decisions.
