On behalf of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development, I welcome the Organisers, Participants and Guests of the 9th Moscow International Specialised Exhibition «Pharmtech 2007».

Russian pharmaceutical industry is one of the most fast developing sectors of economy in the Russian Federation.

Provision of Russian people with high-quality medicines is an important state and social task, which cannot be implemented without production and technology development.

In view of the necessity to satisfy demands of the Russian market for medicines, to improve pharmaceutical safety and minimize dependence on imported products, it is extremely important to develop production of Russian medicines in compliance with international and national standards.

Pharmtech today is a trade exhibition featuring latest achievements in the field of pharmaceutical technologies, which provide pharmaceutical companies of Russia and CIS countries an opportunity to enter a new quality level of medicine production in accordance with international standards.

It is a pleasure to mention that every year the exhibition comprises professional seminars, where specialists discuss new development trends of the industry and exchange experience.

This year a lot of work has been carried out on preparation for and holding of the exhibition, providing visitors with an opportunity to obtain the best possible results.
