Association of the Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ARPM)

of the 11th International Trade Exhibition «PHARMTECH 2009»
and International Forum «PHARMTECHPROM 2009»

PHARMTECH, which has become a traditional and recognized international event, is a large-scale exhibition providing for the establishment of business relationship between Russian and international companies, development of conditions for experience exchange, implementation and introduction of investment programmes in compliance with the state policy pursued at present by the government of the country in the pharmaceutical industry.

Pharmaceutical industry is one of the most efficient and dynamically developing fields of Russian economy. Even in conditions of unstable world financial markets, the volume of the pharmaceutical market in Russia indicates positive growth.

Satisfaction of demands of the healthcare system and provision of Russian citizens with high-quality and safe medicines produced in Russia are top priority tasks of the social policy of the state, which is indicated in the Strategy of Pharmaceutical Industry Development in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020.

The key objective of the exhibition is to bring together the efforts of Russian pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers of equipment, substances, packaging, etc. Experience and achievements of international leaders in this field are undoubtedly interesting and useful.

We are confident that PHARMTECHPROM 2009 Forum will feature discussions of numerous and variable issues connected with the current status of economic cooperation and its further development, which are very important for expansion of opportunities of real development of local production.

Undoubtedly, establishing mutually beneficial business contacts with leading world and Russian producers and distributors within PHARMTECH 2009 will give a new positive impulse for the development of Russian pharmaceutical industry.

We are confident that participation of representatives of branch federal authorities, public organisations and business at the exhibition will provoke interest of all consumers of medicines, medical products and equipment, as well as representatives of mass media. We are confident that companies participating at PHARMTECH 2009 will find new reliable partners, and representatives of state bodies will obtain information about new developments, modern techniques and technologies.
