PHARMTECH 2009

On behalf of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of Moscow Region, I welcome the organisers, participants and guests of the 11th Moscow International Exhibition “PHARMTECH 2009”.

Russian pharmaceutical industry is one of the most fast growing sectors in the Russian Federation.

Provision of Russian citizens with high-quality medicines is an important governmental and social task, which cannot be solved with developing production of Russian high-quality medicines.

To satisfy demands of the Russian market for medicines, improve pharmaceutical safety and reduce dependence on imported products, production of Russian medicines complying with international and national standards becomes of extreme significance.

PHARMTECH today is a professional exhibition of achievements in the field of pharmaceutical technologies providing an opportunity to pharmaceutical companies of Russia and CIS to enter a qualitatively new level of medicine production in accordance with international standards.

It is a pleasure to mention that every year the exhibition comprises specialised seminars to discuss development trends of the industry and exchange opinions between specialists.

This year substantial work has been carried out on the preparation for and organisation of the exhibition, which provided visitors with an opportunity to get the best possible results of their participation.
