On November 22, 2018, within the framework of the Pharmtech & Ingredients exhibition business programme, a round table “ Technology transfer: best practices of Russian and foreign manufacturers” will be conducted.

The innovation development of the pharmaceutical industry is closely connected with the issues of knowledge transfer during the transition to each following stage of medicine life cycle. At the same time, it is crucially to regulate and formalize the transfer of knowledge and technologies that should ensure the achievement of the medicine quality, laid down at the development stage, in manufacturing. Today, the quick and effective technology transfer capability that meet modern GMP requirements can provide strong competitive advantages for any pharmaceutical company. However, it should be taken into account that in the case of medicines, the transfer of technology should also concider the quality, safety and efficacy of medicines, compliance to which is an indispensable condition for their production and sale.

Therefore, it is extremely important that the specialists involved in this process should know and understand not only the scope of the documentation, but also the logic of the transfer, the regulatory requirements and expectations of the authorized bodies that are applicable to it.

Practical examples of technology transfer (from the laboratory to the production site, from one production unit to another) successfully implemented by Russian and foreign pharmaceutical companies will be presented and discussed during the round table.

Visiting the round table is free after getting e-ticket>>
